renewable energy as the demand for electricity is surging.
While the earth receives about the same energy from the Sun
in an hour than humanity consumes in a year, the connection
between the supply and the demand remains fragmented.
Power converters are in the very heart of this problem. The
current hardware-based designs are inefficient and outdated
resulting in multiple Gigawatts of power being lost during the
conversion process.
The unused potential of software in converting solar energy to
usable electricity is holding the world back. However, the race
towards next generation power conversion systems is about to
begin and this where the Vensum breakthrough takes place.
Vensum Power focuses on the core enabler of producing, storing
and distributing energy–power conversion. But unlike other
conversion systems, our design is driven by software and
algorithms.
Our software enables seamless power flow from solar energy
fields to EV charging stations, optimising converter response in
real-time. This not only preserves energy but also advances the
entire power grid to operate more efficiently and reliably.
The radical physical consequence that follows our software-driven
design means that the footprint of converters and the EV charging
stations reduces significantly. This translates to savings of
hundreds of millions of dollars attributed to volume, weight,
installation, and operating expenses.
Ultimately, we are making end-users charge their EVs faster,
operators to run energy storages and charging stations more
economically and the world to harness the sun’s energy on a
scalable level.
The significant innovation of Vensum conversion technology is our
power operating system that run our conversion computers,
seamlessly harnessing the variable supply of sun’s energy to meet
its constant demand.
Aided by cloud-based converter digital twins, our operating system
can calculate and employ billions of predictive control schemes
that adapt in real-time to the changes in the electricity.
In addition, we are the first in the world to introduce OTA (over-theair)
software updates for our conversion computers where new
features and maintenance programs can be installed and ran
remotely.
Our breakthroughs in software and algorithms are resulting in 80%
smaller footprint of physical hardware, 2x longer lifetime for the
converters and cutting down the power loss of the conversion
process by 70%.
And this is just the beginning.
